General terms of sale

Version of 7 November 2026. They apply to purchases made on the polypetstudio.com online shop, which opens soon. For purchases made in our Etsy shop, Etsy’s terms and the rules stated in each listing also apply.

1. The seller

2. Who we sell to

We sell to adult consumers and businesses with a delivery address in Italy or another EU country. If you buy as a consumer, you are also protected by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and by the mandatory rules of the country where you live, which these terms do not limit in any way.

3. Products

Our products are designed and 3D printed by us in PLA. Each product page states size, colours, packs and warnings. As every piece is printed individually, small differences in shade or surface compared to the photos are normal and are not defects. NOSME tools are made for scent searches: they are not chew toys and must be used under adult supervision. They contain neodymium magnets glued into their seats: keep them out of the reach of children.

4. Prices

Prices are in euros and are final: we operate under the Italian flat-rate scheme, so VAT is not charged (Art. 1(54–89), Law 190/2014). Shipping costs are shown in the cart before you confirm the order: €4.99 for Italy and €5.99 for other EU countries.

5. How the contract is concluded

Choose the products, enter your delivery details, choose shipping and payment and press the “Order with obligation to pay” button. The contract is concluded when you receive our confirmation email, which contains the order summary and these terms. Before confirming you can correct your details at any time. The contract is in Italian; we store it and you can ask us for a copy.

6. Payment

You can pay by credit or debit card via Stripe or with PayPal. The amount is charged when you place the order. We never see or store your card details.

7. Shipping and delivery

We prepare the order in 1–3 working days; the carrier usually delivers in 2–5 working days. When we ship we send you the tracking number. In any case we deliver within 30 days of the order (Art. 61 of the Italian Consumer Code); if we fail to do so you can set us an additional deadline and, if it is not met, terminate the contract with a refund. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you receive the parcel. If the parcel arrives visibly damaged, accept it with reservation and write to us with a few photos.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason. All details, the form and the online withdrawal function are on the Right of withdrawal page.

9. Legal guarantee of conformity

As the seller we are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery (Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code). The defect must be reported within 2 months of discovery by writing to info@polypetstudio.com. You can ask free of charge for repair or replacement and, where the law provides, a price reduction or termination of the contract. The guarantee does not cover damage from improper use, for example if the dog chews the tools.

10. Complaints and disputes

For any complaint write to info@polypetstudio.com: we reply within 7 working days. If we cannot find a solution, you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed under Art. 141-decies of the Italian Consumer Code, or to the courts. If you are a consumer, the court of the place where you live has jurisdiction. The contract is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the more favourable mandatory rules of the country where you live.

We may update these terms: each order is governed by the version published when you confirmed it.
